Angela M. Morehead serves as the Vice President of Housing Development at Volunteers of America-Texas since July 2022, focusing on creating collaborative partnerships with real estate developers and community organizations to provide safe and affordable housing for low-income individuals. Prior to this role, Angela held the position of Executive Director at PreservingUS, Inc. from May 2009 to July 2022, where responsibilities included grant writing and management to support self-sufficiency for underserved populations. Angela's earlier experience as a Tax Credit Project Manager at Cohen-Esrey Real Estate Services, LLC involved managing multiple Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects, resulting in over $20 million in awarded tax credits. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Drake University.
