Meg Garlinghouse currently serves as Vice President of Social Impact at LinkedIn, where responsibilities include identifying impactful ways for the platform to support members and the nonprofit sector globally. Since December 2015, Meg has been a board member at KQED and has held a board member position at VolunteerMatch since June 2008. Previous board membership at Network for Good lasted from November 2001 to January 2014. Prior to LinkedIn, Meg held the role of Sr. Director at Yahoo! for Good, overseeing initiatives that engaged with the charity sector, and Sr. Manager at Netcentives, where marketing strategies for nonprofit solutions were developed. Meg's earlier experience includes key roles at The Asia Foundation, The World Bank, Mintz Levin/ML Strategies, and the Peace Corps, highlighting a robust background in project management, nonprofit engagement, and economic development. Meg earned a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Duke University.
