Sara Sterling, PLV, is an experienced professional in the field of social policy and volunteer management, currently serving as State Programs Manager and previously as Sector Development Manager at Volunteering Victoria since January 2018. Sara has also contributed as a part-time lecturer in Volunteer Management at La Trobe University in 2019. Prior experience includes roles such as HIPPY Australia Consultant at the Brotherhood of St Laurence and various positions at The Smith Family, where responsibilities included Volunteer Operations Coordinator and Administrator. Sara began a career in public affairs at FaHCSIA and participated in a graduate program in the Department of Families Housing Community Services. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Social Policy and a Bachelor's degree in Socio-Legal Studies, Public Policy, and Italian from the University of Melbourne.
