Marco Boninella has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Marco started their career at Teatro alla Scala as a Teatre Usher from May 2009 to April 2011. Marco then worked as a Student Assistant at NTNU from February 2013 to June 2013. Marco joined T.I.M.E. Association in August 2011, where they pursued a Double Degree (MSc) from Politecnico di Milano and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, which they completed in September 2014. In October 2014, they started their trainee position in International Business Development at Volue Energy, where they worked until November 2015. Marco then progressed to become a Sales Engineer and Product Specialist (Software) at the same company from December 2015 to January 2022. Marco currently holds the position of Head Of Sales South, SE, East Europe, and UK as well as Senior Sales Engineer at Volue, starting in January 2022.

Marco Boninella completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical-Energy Engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 2008 to 2011. Marco then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2008 to 2013. Later, they returned to Politecnico di Milano to complete another Master's Degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from 2011 to 2014.
