Johan Peltenburg is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Manager and Senior Staff Software Engineer at Voltron Data since December 2021. Previously, Johan co-founded Teratide, which focused on high-performance analytics solutions for big data applications from November 2020 to November 2021. Academic contributions include a postdoctoral research position and a PhD candidacy at Technische Universiteit Delft, where research centered on integrating FPGA accelerators with modern big data systems. Johan also held a short-term scholar position at IBM and taught various courses on embedded systems at Hogeschool Rotterdam. Earlier career experience includes working as a Hardware/Electronics Design Engineer at tbp electronics. Johan holds a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
