Sumit Panigrahi is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in vehicle development and attributes management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Volta Trucks, Sumit oversees vehicle requirements, prototype testing, and certification for electric vehicles. Prior roles include Engineering Consultant at SM Software Solutions Ltd. and Vehicle Attributes Team Leader at Ricardo, where responsibilities included leading benchmarking projects for electric vehicles and heavy-duty trucks, as well as managing vehicle performance attributes. Sumit has also held leadership positions in aerodynamics development at Tata Motors, with experience in both testing and research projects. Sumit holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
