Denis Kouroussis has a strong background in the technology industry. Denis co-founded Atom Power, Inc. in 2014 and served as the company's Co-Founder and Board Member. Denis also held the position of CSO, where they oversaw the development and launch of the world's first UL Listed Solid State Circuit Breaker. Prior to Atom Power, Denis worked as the CTO of the company.

In 2023, Denis co-founded Zepco Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and assumed the role of Co-Founder. Denis also co-founded Volta Insite in 2022, where they served as the Co-Founder and CEO. Before that, Denis founded and served as the CEO of Volta Energy, a company they began in 2009.

Denis Kouroussis graduated from the University of Toronto with a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 2006. Prior to their Ph.D., they obtained their M.A.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 1998. Denis completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, earning a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 1996. Before their university education, Denis attended Brebeuf school for an unspecified period, with no specific degree mentioned. Denis also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
