Bob Thomasson has extensive experience in the technology and communications sectors, with a career spanning from the US Navy to various leadership roles in private companies. At Choose Volta since August 2017, Bob serves as a Field Engineer after the rebranding from DMD Data Systems Inc., where Bob has continued to uphold the same responsibilities since August 2013 as a Sales Representative. Previous positions include Technical Team Leader and Computer Specialist at the University of Louisville, where Bob managed a range of IT functions and personnel. Further experience includes serving as General Manager for the internet division of Southeastern Indiana Telephone, founding BCS Computers INC., and working as a Senior Customer Service Engineer at Wang Laboratories. Bob's foundational role encompassed various duties in the US Navy, where an honorable discharge was achieved. Educational background includes attendance at Jefferson Community College and completion of training during service in the US Navy.
