Karen Boppe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing, currently serving as the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager for Live Events at Volleyball World since February 2024. Previously, Karen co-founded JDEKK 8888 Mkt. Corp, where the role of Chief Growth & Marketing Officer was held from November 2021 to January 2024. Additional experience includes serving as Hospitality Sales Manager at UEFA from November 2018 to July 2021 and Director of Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai from November 2014 to June 2018. Earlier roles also include Director of Marketing Communications at Fairmont Beijing, Director of Sales & Marketing for North China at The Ascott Limited, Assistant Director of Sales at Oakwood Asia Pacific, and Sales Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a major in Marketing & Advertising from the University of Santo Tomas, where education was completed from 1995 to 2000.
