Michel Oppermann

Michel Oppermann has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Michel started their career as an intern in the legal field at the Federal Network Agency and the German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce. Michel then worked as a legal assistant at Bang + Regnarsen and later joined Positive Impact EU as an intern in executive recruitment.

In 2011, Oppermann joined DONG Energy for a company consultancy project before moving to Deutsche Telekom AG, where they worked as a management trainee and later as a sales controller in the Segment Europe.

From 2016 to 2020, Oppermann worked at congstar as a business controller in the marketing department. Michel then joined Deutsche Telekom as a financial performance controller in the Segment Germany, before becoming the head of reporting and controlling group functions at VOLKSWAGEN GROUP Sverige. Michel also held the position of business controller for Audi Sweden during their tenure at VOLKSWAGEN GROUP Sverige.

Michel Oppermann has a diverse education history. Michel started their academic journey in 2003 at the University of Münster, where they pursued a degree in Law. Michel completed their studies in 2009, earning a Diplom / Master in Law.

In 2004 and 2005, Michel briefly studied Law at the University of Oslo (UiO). Although the details of any degree obtained from UiO are not provided, these studies further enriched their legal education.

Seeking to broaden their knowledge beyond Law, Michel attended the Vlerick Business School in 2010 and 2011. Here, they pursued a Master in General Management (MGM), expanding their expertise in business administration and management.

Continuing their educational journey, Michel enrolled at the Copenhagen Business School in 2011. During their time there, they focused on European Human Resource Management, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree.

In addition to their formal education, Michel has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner through APMG-International. In 2019, they achieved a B2 level proficiency in Swedish (CEFR) from Linnaeus University. Two years later, in 2021, Michel became a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) through the Certified Management Accountant: CMA® program. Lastly, in 2023, they attained the CSP Barista Skills-Intermediate certification from the Specialty Coffee Association.
