Cheikh Niang is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director Back Office and CFO at Volkswagen Financial Services in France since February 2024. Prior to this role, Cheikh was the Group Controller at Europcar Mobility Group from May 2023 to February 2024, and held various positions at Volkswagen Financial Services, including Head of Controlling International Overseas from June 2021 to May 2023. Cheikh was also a Member of the Board of Directors for Volkswagen Financial Services in South Africa, South Korea, Japan, and Australia, as well as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen Bank Russia during this period. Previous roles include Managing Director at Volkswagen Møller Bilfinans from October 2018 to June 2021 and Sr Director Financial Controlling at VW Credit, Inc. from March 2017 to October 2018. Cheikh holds a Master of Science in Statistics and Economics from ENSAE Paris and dual Master I and II degrees in Mathematics and Social Sciences from Université Côte d'Azur.
