Florent Giraud is an experienced professional in data privacy and IT auditing, currently serving as Data Privacy Manager and Head of the APAC Privacy Hub at Volkswagen Group Australia since November 2023. Previously, Florent worked at Volkswagen AG, where roles included Information and Technology Audit Expert and Head of Data Intelligence for IT & Digital Operations, focusing on the development of IT audit methodologies and data intelligence techniques. With a strong background at Deloitte Switzerland and PricewaterhouseCoopers Geneva, as well as Ernst & Young in Sydney, experience includes senior management positions in analytics and forensic technologies, IT audits, and data-related services. Florent began the professional journey at BARBIER FRINAULT & ASSOCIES as an auditor dedicated to financial services. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from ESTP and studies at ESMT Berlin.
