Dishantha Gayan possesses extensive experience in the aviation field, currently serving as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Emirates since October 2022. Prior to this role, Dishantha worked as a Qualified Mechanic at Volga-Dnepr Group from May 2016 and as an Aviation Technician at Etihad Airways from November 2013 to April 2016. Dishantha's career began with the Sri Lanka Air Force, where an Aircraft Technician role was held from June 2002 to October 2013. Educationally, Dishantha Gayan completed various specialized courses and obtained an EASA modules certification in Aeronautics from Next-at SAGL Switzerland, alongside multiple courses at VD Gulf that focused on structural and composite materials. A Diploma of Education in Aeronautics was also earned from the Sri Lanka Air Force.
