John Nelles is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of acting, dialect coaching, and education. Currently a professor at George Brown College's School of Design and Media Arts, John has held various roles in academia since 2021 and has also served as a Canadian representative for SAMINA Healthy Sleep Systems since 2016. With a career spanning over three decades, John has contributed as an actor and dialect coach for multiple video games at Ubisoft and worked on numerous projects in film, television, and theatre. Recognized for expertise in dialect coaching, John has collaborated with award-winning actors and is actively involved with the Voice and Speech Trainers Association and Fight Directors Canada, where significant leadership roles were undertaken. Academic credentials include a BA and MFA in Speech and Dramatic Arts from the University of Iowa.
