Claus Unterkircher is the current General Manager for DACH at Voi Technology. Claus has held this position since November of 2018 and is responsible for building a high-performing team from scratch, as well as acquiring 7-digit customers and generating 8-digit rides and revenue. Claus is also responsible for certifying scooters and launching in Germany. In addition, they have won licenses to operate in three cities after shaping the first tender processes.
Previously, Unterkircher was the Head of Operations and Logistics for Uber Austria. Claus started with Uber in 2016 in a team of just two people and helped grow Uber quickly to a major player in Austria with more than 20 persons in charge of the entire business. Claus also worked closely with Switzerland and Germany, contributed to the launch preparation of UberEATS, and created two Greenlight partner support centers for the Uber rides business.
Before their time at Uber, Unterkircher was the Operations and Logistics Manager for Uber from January 2014 to March 2016.
Claus Unterkircher has a background in leadership and strategy from Harvard Business School Executive Education, a Master of Laws from the University of Vienna in Austria, and a degree in economics, law, and political science from Sciences Po Paris. Claus also has a background in Chapman University.
