Jürgen Geert Deweert is a seasoned football coach and scout with extensive experience in player development and talent detection. Since January 2019, Jürgen serves as a Coach Educator at Voetbal Vlaanderen, focusing on UEFA coaching certifications and talent scouting. Concurrently, Jürgen has been a scout for the Royal Belgian Football Association since July 2017, contributing to opponent and player scouting for various national teams, including the Red Devils and Red Flames, as well as youth talent detection. Jürgen’s coaching experience spans multiple teams and age groups, including roles at Standard de Liège and KV Oostende, while also managing customer relations at Würth Belux NV/SA since 2002. Jürgen has further enhanced professional qualifications through various coaching and analysis courses, culminating in a specialization from the MBP School of Coaches.
