Erik Bruininx

Manager Nutrition & Innovation at Voergroep Zuid

Erik Bruininx is currently working at Royal De Heus as the Group Manager Nutrition and Support Swine. Erik also holds positions at Voergroep Zuid as the Manager Nutrition & Innovation and at Wageningen University as a Guest Researcher. Throughout their career, Erik has been involved in research on energy and protein metabolism in pigs, supervising MSc & PhD students, and designing and lecturing new courses in animal nutrition. Previously, Erik has held roles at Royal Agrifirm Group R&D, Agrifirm Innovation Center, and Animal Science Group where Erik conducted research in swine nutrition, health, husbandry, and management. Erik holds a PhD in Animal nutrition & health from Utrecht University, as well as a MSc in Animal Nutrition from Wageningen University & Research and a BSc in Dutch Agriculture from HAS green academy.
