Ioan Catalin Buliga has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Vodafone since August 2021, after holding the positions of Chief Technology Officer and Chief Network Officer within Vodafone from May 2016 to April 2021. Prior to this, Ioan Catalin Buliga worked at Liberty Global as Chief Technology Officer for Romania and Hungary from July 2008 to August 2015, where responsibilities included directing UPC Romania's Core Network Operations. Ioan's career at Vodafone began in November 1998, advancing from Manager of Central NOC and Regional Network Operations to Manager of Core Network Planning and Design until July 2008. Educational qualifications include an engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași, complemented by a degree as a Navy Technician from the Military Navy High School in Constanta, Romania.
