Matt Gumbel has extensive work experience in software development, particularly in the field of enterprise-wide appliance used by medical facilities for messaging and alert notifications. Matt has worked at Solid Design, Inc. since 2017 as a Software Developer. Prior to that, they worked at Vocera from 2016 to 2017 and at Extension Healthcare from 2012 to 2016, both as a Software Developer. Before that, they worked at Navistar Inc from 2005 to 2012, where they held various roles such as Software Developer, Group Leader, Electronics, MFG, IT, and Application Developer/Analyst. Matt started their career at International Truck and Engine in 1999 as an Embedded Software Developer and Project Engineer, where they worked on Advanced Product Development and Vehicle Electronics. Matt has been awarded multiple patents and has been involved in the development of vehicle and component level requirements.

Matt Gumbel earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Matt attended the institute from 1995 to 1999.
