Freya Sixma is an experienced communication advisor and spokesperson currently working at VO-raad since September 2022, focusing on educational development within the Voortgezet Leren program. Previously, Freya served as a council member for GroenLinks in Amersfoort, advocating on various portfolios including education and youth care. Freya has worked in diverse communication and marketing roles across multiple organizations, including USG Marketing & Communications, Stichting Nederlands Debat Instituut, and Uitgeverij Boekscout, gaining expertise in communication strategies, project management, and marketing campaigns. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Arts in Book Studies and Manuscript Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Utrecht University.
