Mal Wood-Santoro has worked for a variety of companies since 2011. From 2011-2012, Mal worked as an Intern for Food for the Hungry, Inc. and as a Research Intern for Catholic Charities - Refugee and Immigration Services. In 2013, Mal worked as an English Teacher for Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University and as a Development Associate for the Berkeley Food & Housing Project. In 2015, Mal worked as a Technical Support for Rotunda Software. From 2016-2017, Mal worked as a Full Stack Web Development Student for Dev Bootcamp and as a Frontend Engineer and Enterprise Support Engineer for Mapbox. Finally, in 2022, Mal began working as a Senior Support Engineer for VIZION.
Mal Wood-Santoro attended Messiah University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology. In 2011, they studied at Uganda Christian University. In 2013, they attended Chiang Mai University. In November 2022, they obtained a Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
