Darshan Brahmbhatt worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at San Diego State University from March 2020 to May 2021. In this role, they were involved in various tasks related to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, code review, unit testing, and integration testing. Darshan constructed a Windows desktop application using C++ programming for defect detection on the surface of 3D printed metals. Additionally, they implemented feature extraction algorithms using OpenCV to extract features from the metal's surface and applied algorithms such as ANOVA for feature selection and LDA for feature reduction. Darshan also designed advanced machine learning algorithms, including Artificial Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, CNN, and GAN, to classify the metal's surface defects into various categories using the Opencv package of C++. Currently, Darshan Brahmbhatt works as a Software Engineer at VIZIO, starting in August 2021.
Darshan Brahmbhatt pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from LDRP Institute of Technology & Research, Gujarat Technological University, from 2015 to 2019. Subsequently, they attended San Diego State University and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2019 to 2021.
