Terry A. has a diverse work history in the healthcare industry. They began their career at Rockford Memorial Hospital in 1990 as a Planning and Marketing Associate. They then transitioned to roles at Rockford Health System, where they served as a Quality Improvement Coordinator and later as a Recovery Audit Manager. In 2014, Terry A. joined OrthoIllinois as a Clinical Informatics and Outcomes Manager. From 2018 to the present, they have been employed at Northwest Community Healthcare as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. In 2023, Terry A. will begin working at Vizient, Inc as a Lead Operations and Quality Executive.

Terry A. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from The University of Alabama from 1985 to 1989. Later, from 2008 to 2010, Terry A. pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business/Commerce, General from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Terry A. has obtained various certifications including Proci Change Management-ADKAR from Northwest Community Healthcare, CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) from NAHQ (National Association for Healthcare Quality), IHI Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety from IHI, IAHQ Member from Illinois Association for Healthcare Quality, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from University of Illinois - Business Innovation Services (BIS).
