Susan Wan has had extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Susan started their career at Loyola University Medical Center, where they served as the Director of Volunteer Services and later became the Manager of Patient Relations. In 2002, they joined UHC and held several positions including Assistant Director of Member Advocate, Director of Contract Solutions, Senior Director of Contract Solutions, Associate Vice President of Client Management, and Vice President of Business Development. Susan then moved on to work at Vizient, Inc in 2016, where they initially served as the Vice President of Business Development and is currently the VP & GM of Commercial Enablement.

Susan Wan received their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Chicago in 1989. Susan went on to earn their Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2002, specializing in Public Administration.
