Chris Sands has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris currently holds a senior leadership position as the Vice President, Enterprise Transformation at Vizient, Inc since December 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President and Chief of Staff for Vizient's Spend Management Operations, where they led the transformation of the core functions of the organization. Chris also held the role of Leader - Sourcing Transformation, where they led the enterprise-wide sourcing organization through a change journey aligned with the company's goals. Before joining Vizient, Chris worked at Provista, where they served as the Associate Vice President, Contract and Program Services. Chris also held the role of Director of Strategic Sourcing at Vizient and served as the Founder of Sands In Burkina, a charitable organization that provided support to infants in distress. Earlier in their career, Chris held various positions at Vizient, Inc and KCI. Chris began their career as a Producer at Uplink Communications.

Chris Sands attended Humble High School from 1992 to 1996. From 1996 to 2001, they studied English and Theology at Houston Christian University, earning a BA degree.
