Matt Giarrusso, CPA, currently serves as Assistant Controller and previously held the position of Accounting Manager at Akoya Biosciences, Inc. since December 2020. Prior to this role, Matt worked at EY from September 2016 to December 2020 as an Assurance Senior, where responsibilities included planning and executing assurance services and testing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. Matt began their career at Restivo Monacelli LLP as a Staff Accountant from January 2014 to January 2016, focusing on the preparation of federal and state tax returns. Matt holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Providence College (2015-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College (2011-2015).
