Senior Performance Engineer at Vixxo

Hector M. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of performance testing and engineering. Hector began their career as a Software Developer at Air Resources Board, where they programmed new functionality and fixed applications developed by outside vendors. Hector then transitioned to the role of Load/Automation Test Engineer at the American Red Cross, where they developed test plans and utilized performance center to manage script development and execution.

Afterwards, they worked as a Performance Tester at the North Carolina Department of Transportation - Rail Division, where they mentored and trained new team members on testing methodologies and streamlined the performance testing process. Hector then joined Walt Disney Interactive Media Group as a Performance Test Engineer, where they mentored team members and set standards for performance testing applications.

Hector's next role was as a Lead Performance Test Engineer at Apollo Group, where they provided leadership and support to team members, created testing guidelines, and designed an enterprise-level performance center. Hector then worked at Legacy.com as a Sr. Performance Test Engineer, where they reviewed and recommended load testing tools, developed the performance test engineering process, and sold the concept of performance testing across the company.

Most recently, Hector has held the position of Senior Performance Engineer at Vixxo and Esri. In both roles, they have utilized their expertise in performance testing and engineering to contribute to the success of the respective companies.

Hector M. attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Systems Analysis and Design. Hector also attended Mt. San Antonio College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. In addition, in 2005, they studied at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers - Englewood, where they earned a certification as a Microsoft Software .NET Developer (MCSD).
