Gerald Lim is a Mechanical Engineer at Vivo Surgical, where Gerald is developing novel medical devices to improve medical accessibility. Prior to this, Gerald worked as a Project Officer at NTU School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, focusing on developing robotics systems for clinical settings. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Biobot Surgical, Gerald designed new attachment systems and revamped work processes. During their internship at Continental as a Software Engineer, Gerald implemented a new platform for automated testing. Gerald received their Bachelors in Engineering Product Development from Singapore University of Technology and Design, and also has a background in medical research from Duke-NUS Medical School.
