Dirk van Abbema is a Quantitative Research Specialist and Trader at Vivienne Court Trading Pty Ltd since October 2019, with prior experience at Flow Traders as a Trader from January 2013 to October 2019. Dirk was also a Junior Commodity Derivatives Trader at ING from May 2010 to January 2013, where responsibilities included trading, pricing, and hedging exotic commodity derivatives. An internship at Kyos Energy Consulting in late 2009 involved developing a valuation model for thermal plants, with results published in World Power 2010. Dirk holds an MSc in Quantitative Finance and a BSc in Econometrics & Management Science from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
