Jed Alexander has significant work experience in the software development field. Jed currently holds the position of Principal Software Developer at VividCloud, a US-based high-tech software services company. In this role, they focus on helping clients with the digital transformation of their products by utilizing cloud computing, IoT, and data engineering technologies. Jed is responsible for designing and building new products and systems, as well as rearchitecting and migrating legacy software to the cloud.

Before joining VividCloud, Jed worked as a Senior Cloud Native Java Developer at Railroad19 from February 2018 to June 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Software Architect at Investment Company Institute from December 2004 to February 2018.

Jed's earlier work experience includes serving as the Director of English as a Second Language at Neighbors' Consejo from May 2002 to November 2004, a Software Developer at iSoft from August 2000 to May 2002, and a Software Developer at DCS from March 1998 to March 2000.

Jed Alexander obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Computer Science from Frostburg State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. In addition, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services in November 2017.
