Jacob Pollard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jacob is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at VividCloud, a US-based high-tech software services company. In this role, they help clients with digital transformation by utilizing cloud computing, IoT, and data engineering technologies. Jacob'sresponsibilities include designing and building new products, as well as rearchitecting and migrating legacy software to the cloud.

Before joining VividCloud, Jacob worked as a Software Engineer at Enercon Technologies from December 2017 to April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Characterization Engineer at Qorvo, Inc. from January 2017 to November 2017.

Jacob also has experience in academia, having served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Appalachian State University from August 2016 to December 2016. Jacob was also a Graduate Software Engineering Intern at Qorvo, Inc. from May 2016 to August 2016.

Furthermore, Jacob has research experience, having worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Appalachian State University from August 2015 to May 2016. Jacob also worked as a Research Assistant at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration from June 2015 to July 2015.

Additionally, Jacob gained industry experience as a Student Developer at Appalachian State University from January 2014 to August 2014.

Jacob Pollard obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Appalachian State University in 2015. Jacob then continued their education at the same university and earned a Master's Degree in Engineering Physics with a concentration in Systems and Laboratory Automation in 2016. In April 2015, they also obtained a certification as a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer from the National Instruments.
