Gaston Siegelaer is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and pension consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Specialist for Quantitative Equity & Commodities at APG Asset Management since January 2020, Gaston coordinates between the fiduciary department and portfolio managers to align quantitative investment products with the needs of APG's pension fund clients. In addition, Gaston has held a part-time role as Investment Officer at VIVE since September 2017 and worked as an Independent Pension & Investment Advisor at Siegelaer pensioen innovator from March 2017 to December 2019. Previous positions include Associate at Probability & Partners, Senior Consultant at Willis Towers Watson, a board member at the Stichting Pensioenfonds van De Nederlandsche Bank, and a Senior Policy Advisor at De Nederlandsche Bank. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Bedrijfseconometrie from Tilburg University and a Doctorate in Econometrie from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
