Johan Overby is an experienced engineering leader with a significant track record in managing engineering operations and teams. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Vivax-Metrotech since October 2016, Johan oversees global engineering efforts. Prior roles include Software Instrumentation Engineering Lead and Manager at Apple, where responsibilities included developing automated robotic test systems and managing a sensor testing team. Johan's earlier career includes positions such as Director of Engineering at Vivax-Metrotech, Consultant at Optimal Ranging, Inc., and Project Manager Engineering at Metrotech Corp. Johan's technical expertise also encompasses communications engineering with a focus on signal processing in FPGA at Voyan Technology. Johan holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology.
