Javier Cazares is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and process improvement. Currently serving as the Procurement Process Improvement Manager at Vitro since June 2016, Javier is responsible for defining and evolving the institutional Procurement Model, including policies, procedures, and performance indicators, while leading the integration of new operations in North America and implementing systems like SAP and Ariba. Prior to this role, Javier worked at CEMEX for nearly 17 years, where responsibilities included managing the CEMEX Management Model for various functions and leading the implementation of the CEMEX Way Model in SAP globally. Additionally, Javier spent nearly a decade at Vitro as the Systems Manager for Finance and Administration, focusing on system solutions for multiple business processes and overseeing the implementation of an ERP system. Javier holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering, both from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
