Andrew Jamieson is a Senior Principal Engineer at VITEC since February 2022, bringing extensive experience in engineering and software development. Prior to VITEC, Andrew served in various roles at Exterity from April 2008 to February 2022, including Principal Engineer and Team Lead. Andrew began career as a Research Engineer at The Kelvin Institute from October 2003 to March 2008, where involvement included an EngD supported by industrial sponsorship. Additionally, Andrew gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Strathclyde during a summer placement in 2003 and as a Student R&D Engineer at Agilent Technologies in 2002. Educational background includes an EngD in System Level Integration from the Institute for System Level Integration and a BEng(Hons) in Computer & Electronic Systems from the University of Strathclyde.
