James Hamilton has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1995. James began their career at Compaq Computer as Vice President of OEM Sales. In 1997, they moved to Picazo Communications as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. In 1999, they became President and COO of Efficient Networks, which was acquired by Siemens in 2001. James remained with Siemens for two years afterwards. In 2003, they became CEO of TippingPoint Technologies, which was acquired by 3Com in 2005. James remained with 3Com for three years afterwards. In 2009, they became Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Safenet Communications Ltd. In 2011, they became President of Click Security. In 2013, they became Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Field Operations at Cyan, Inc. In 2014, they became President of Valletta Capital, LLC. In 2018, they founded VitalTech®.
James Hamilton attended Lawrence Technological University from 1984 to 1986, where they earned a BSBA in Computer Science. James then attended the University of TX San Antonio from 1986 to 1988.
