Gale Wilkinson has a diverse work experience in the venture capital and tech industries. In 2005, they began their career as an Associate Manager at Nielsen. In 2008, they moved to Orbitz as a Senior Strategy Analyst, where they analyzed performance of Orbitz.com and Cheaptickets.com hotel and vacation package products. In 2012, they founded IrishAngels, an angel network of 230+ investors affiliated with Notre Dame, and led investments in 80 companies, deploying $50M in capital. In 2013, they developed and taught a course titled "Intro to Early Stage Investing" to Notre Dame MBA and ESTEEM students. In 2017, they founded VITALIZE Venture Capital, an early stage fund and angel community investing in software focused on transformative, data-driven work technologies. In 2018, they became a Kauffman Fellow, Class 23, in the Kauffman Fellows Program, which identifies, develops, and networks global leaders in VC.
Gale Wilkinson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame between 2001 and 2005. Afterward, they pursued an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago, which they completed between 2010 and 2012.
