Matthew Ditslear has extensive experience in the field of mental health and behavioral analysis. Matthew is currently the Director of Statewide Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs at VitalCore Health Strategies, where they are responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of all mental health services. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Senior Behavioral Analyst at the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and as a Regional Director at Camelot Community Care, Inc., where they managed and oversaw behavioral health care for multiple juvenile detention centers. Matthew also has experience as a Clinical Director at Correct Care Solutions and Camelot Community Care, Inc., where they ran the mental health programs at juvenile detention centers. Matthew has a background in counseling and therapy, having worked as a Counselor at "\"Our\" Children First" and provided mental health treatment for children in the Medicare network. Matthew also owned their own practice, Premier Mental Health, where they provided mental health treatment and services to clients, with a focus on those involved with the justice system. Earlier in their career, Matthew gained experience through positions as a Graduate Intern at Halifax Behavioral Services, working with patients in a children's psychiatric hospital, and as a Graduate Assistant at Stetson University, where they provided academic support to students with disabilities.
Matthew Ditslear completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Florida State University from 2001 to 2005. Matthew then pursued their Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Stetson University from 2005 to 2008.
