Jennifer L. Bou has extensive work experience, starting with their role as a Contracts Attorney at MedStar Health, Inc. from September 2000 to September 2011. Jennifer L. then served as the Corporate Counsel for the Washington Region at MedStar Health, Inc. from September 2011 to April 2013. Following that, Jennifer started their own company, Jennifer L. Bou, LLC, where they worked as the Owner and Principal from April 2013 to April 2017. Jennifer then joined Vitalant, where they held various positions including Associate General Counsel from May 2017 to October 2018, Associate General Counsel and Director of Corporate Compliance and Integrity from November 2018 to May 2021, and currently serves as the Senior Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.

Jennifer L. Bou completed their Bachelor of Foreign Service (BSFS) degree in International Law from Georgetown University from 1989 to 1992. Jennifer L. then pursued their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Health Law from Georgetown University Law Center from 1994 to 1998.
