Courtney Plagens is a strategist at Vital Incite: Population Health Solutions, beginning in September 2023. Prior to this role, Plagens served as a project manager for data at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from February 2022 to August 2023, contributing to research aimed at reducing opioid-related fatalities through community partnerships. Previously, Plagens was the Community Data Coordinator for Cuyahoga County in the same department, with a focus on sustainable health initiatives. Other experiences include co-owning 3sisters yoga, where responsibilities encompassed business operations and teaching, as well as an internship in the Office of Opioid Safety at The MetroHealth System. Earlier in the career, Plagens worked as a national account executive at Benefit Advisors Network and as a specialty executive at Humana. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Northeast Ohio Medical University and a Bachelor's in Spanish from the University of Cincinnati. Plagens is also enrolled in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.
