Denise Niehus is a skilled professional with extensive experience in closed captioning and court reporting. As a Real-Time Closed Captioner at VITAC since May 2016, Denise has provided captioning services for live television and telecoms, demonstrating proficiency and technical troubleshooting abilities. Prior to this role, Denise served as a Registered Professional Shorthand Reporter for the State of Illinois from 2012 to 2016, where responsibilities included maintaining data integrity for cybercrime investigations. From 2008 to 2012, Denise managed Mills Reporting, Ltd., providing stenographic services and accurate transcripts for legal proceedings. Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, Computer Science from Columbia College, earned between 2019 and December 2022.
