Jose-Alberto Canedo is a seasoned professional in the machine learning and research and development fields, currently serving as Senior Manager of the Machine Learning Group at Visual Concepts since March 2023. Prior experience includes holding positions such as Director of Machine Learning and Lead Machine Learning Specialist at Eidos-Montréal from February 2019 to January 2023, and roles at Gameloft and Veridis focusing on R&D and mobile application innovation. Jose-Alberto's career began at Griaule Biometrics, where responsibilities included managing R&D and optimizing biometric algorithms. Jose-Alberto holds a Computer Engineer degree from Universidade Federal de Goiás, an Electronics Technician degree from Escola Técnica Federal de Goiás, and a Project Management Certificate from Centro Universitário SENAC.
