Taylor Short has worked in a variety of roles in the media industry, beginning with an Intern role at Comcast Sportsnet Chicago in 2010. Taylor then moved to WKRC-TV as an Intern Sports Reporting/Writing and to Miami Television Network as a Field Reporter & Sports Director in 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Marketing, Blogger, Social Media at Miami Up Fashion Magazine and as a Research Reporter/ Online Publishing at BidClerk. In 2011, they worked as an Account Manager / Planner at RadiumOne and from 2012 to 2017, they worked at GumGum as an Account Director and Account Executive. Taylor then moved to Viant Technology in 2021 as a Senior Account Executive and is currently employed at Vistar Media in the same role.

Taylor Short obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science from Miami University in 2011. In 2021, Taylor Short obtained the Adelphic Certification from Adelphic.
