Rachel Vassallo has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Rachel began their career as a Ground Crew member at Aviaserve Ltd in December 2018 and worked in that role until June 2021. In June 2021, they took on the role of Project Leader at Mifsud Brothers Ltd, where they worked until December 2021. Rachel then joined VistaJet in December 2021 as an Account Executive and was promoted to Senior Account Executive in July 2022. Rachel is currently still employed at VistaJet in the position of Senior Account Executive.

Rachel Vassallo has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Tourism Studies from the University of Malta, which they obtained from 2018 to 2021. Rachel also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Tourism Management at the University of Central Lancashire from 2019 to 2020. Prior to their university education, they attended G.F Abela Junior College Msida from 2016 to 2019, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
