Lawrence Grech has a diverse work experience in various industries. Lawrence began their career in 2014 as a PADI Diving Instructor at Malta Blue Diving Ltd, where they conducted PADI diving courses and managed client records. In 2016, they became a Statistician at the National Statistics Office, responsible for data collection, analysis, and quality monitoring. Lawrence then joined the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) in 2017 as a Mathematics and Statistics Analyst. In 2018, Lawrence joined VistaJet, initially as an Operations Business Analyst, then as a Senior Operations Business Analyst. Currently, they serve as the Group DOC Finance Business Partner at VistaJet. In addition to their professional roles, Lawrence also owned and directed DivePro Malta from 2016 to 2018, managing the dive center and overseeing PADI courses.
Lawrence Grech pursued their education starting from 2005 to 2010 at San Anton School, where they obtained a Matsec Ordinary Level. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, they attended G.F. Abela Junior College and received a Matriculation Certificate. In 2012, they briefly attended UHI, studying Aircraft Engineering. Then, from 2013 to 2016, Lawrence completed their B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Strathclyde. Finally, from 2017 to 2020, they obtained a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Malta. Additionally, Lawrence Grech holds certifications such as PADI IDC STAFF Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor, both earned in 2013, and a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification acquired in the same year. Lawrence is also certified in the ECDL Foundation - ICDL - International Computer Driving Licence, although the specific month and year of its attainment are unknown.
