As President and CEO of Caring People Alliance since 2006, Jerry has transformed the organization into a proactive agent for social justice. Previous roles included Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, where Jerry was responsible for agency programming and business development. Early career positions spanned various roles in organizations, including Director of Development and Communications at ActionAIDS and Senior Proposal Writer at Resources for Human Development, demonstrating a strong background in strategic planning, communication, and organizational growth. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geography and Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Sociology/Urban Studies from the University at Albany.
