Cliff Kapono is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in science and brand representation. Currently serving as a Global Ambassador for Reef since June 2021 and as a Creator and Innovator for Vissla since January 2018, Kapono has demonstrated a commitment to both environmental advocacy and innovative design. Previously, Kapono held the role of Ambassador for OluKai from March 2017 to May 2021 and completed a stint as a Mass Media Fellow at AAAS in 2018. Academically, Kapono earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from UC San Diego and a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, following a solid educational foundation at Kamehameha Schools.
