Jessica Moorefield-Lowman began their work experience in 2002 as a Member Service Representative at Truliant Federal Credit Union. In 2005, they moved on to become a Medical Technologist at WFUBMC until 2009. At Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, they then worked as a Coagulation Specialist from 2009 to 2013, managing and coordinating routine and special testing in the Coagulation Lab. Jessica joined Visiun, Inc. in 2013 as a Technical Support Specialist, and later became a Product Development Manager starting in October 2014.

Jessica Moorefield-Lowman received their Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2005. Jessica then pursued higher education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from the Wake Forest University School of Business in 2010. Prior to that, they attended Wesleyan Academy from 1998 to 2001, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for that period.
