Teresa Martinez serves as the Special Assistant to the President and Government Affairs Manager at Visit KC since November 2014, leading strategic engagement with governmental entities to promote the destination. Previously, Teresa held various roles within the City of Kansas City, MO, including Legislative Aide, Protocol Officer/Executive Assistant, International Affairs Event Coordinator, International Affairs Assistant, and International Fellow, spanning from 2004 to 2014. Teresa's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Protocol and Diplomacy, an Expert qualification in Protocol & International Relations, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Philology from reputable institutions in Spain.
