Kathy Wilson is an experienced event management professional currently serving as the Special Events Manager at Visit Austin since August 2024. Prior to this role, Kathy held the position of Retail Stylist at Kendra Scott for a brief period in 2024 and worked as an Event Manager for the Society for Information Management from January 2021 to August 2024. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Stylist at Stitch Fix, and in various roles at CMP Management, Inc., where Kathy advanced from Event Manager to Event Operations Director. Earlier roles include Senior Event Manager at White Lodging Services and Marketing & Administrative Assistant at CSHI. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication & Journalism with a focus on Advertising/Public Relations from the University of Arkansas, completed in 2007.
